growing up means realizing a lot of your old friends are assholes have their own priorities and yearnings that don’t necessary align with what you want from them, and that that is totally okay because you’re the same way in the end.

Me: Oh, so you know what it's like to hate every inch of yourself? You know what it's like not being able to look at yourself and cry when you do? You know what it's like not being able to eat without making yourself sick? You know what it's like not being able to talk to anyone without panicking? You know what it's like not being able to walk to your local shop as may see people? You know what it's like being hated by your family and constantly being put down all the time? You know what it's like being put second best to everyone?
Friend: Well no..
Me: Then don't say you do.
